NIGHTSHIFT: MORE THAN SOUP
NightShift Street Ministries is a registered, not-for-profit society operating in Surrey, British Columbia since 2004. The society is committed to bringing healing, wholeness, and freedom to those caught in the cycle of poverty, emotional and mental illness, addictions, and homelessness.
NightShift does not rely on government funding but on the generosity and kindness of individuals, businesses, corporate donors, and groups from the faith community. Meals are prepared and served by volunteer outreach workers 365 days a year, whatever the weather. NightShift also offers a continuum of care services such as counseling, medical help, therapeutic art classes, free clothing to those in need, a women’s extreme weather shelter, and a drop-in centre.
If you are interested in making a donation, volunteering, or in finding out more about social justice issues in Canada you can reach NightShift at 604-953-1114.
